FlowerPale is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others except as described in this policy. FlowerPale collects information from our users during the ordering process and when you contact us.

Ordering process

We request information on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, phone, and shipping address) and payment information (such as credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with you.

Sharing with fulfillment partners

When you place an order on FlowerPale, your order details and personal information are shared with Florist One (our fulfillment partner and subcontractor), its payment processors (such as Authorize.net or Stripe), and the local florist who delivers your arrangement. This sharing is required to process payment, fulfill and deliver your order, and provide related customer service. These parties use the information only to complete those purposes and do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for unrelated secondary purposes beyond what is needed for fulfillment, payment processing, fraud prevention, and legal or tax recordkeeping.

Local florists receive the information needed for delivery (recipient name and address, institution if any, phone, product details, card message, and special instructions). They do not receive your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on your device containing information about your visit. Use of a cookie is not linked to personally identifiable information while on our site beyond what is needed to keep your session. A cookie is used on our site to keep track of your session in order to maintain the shopping cart and checkout details. If you reject cookies, you may still browse our site. The drawback is that you may not be able to place an order.

Log files

We may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use, and support fraud prevention. IP addresses are not sold or used as a public profile of personally identifiable information.
